The AZA Ungulate TAGs convene annually in the spring in a productive working-meeting format, typically as part of the AZA Mid-Year Meeting. During these open sessions, the TAGs review ongoing ungulate management and conservation initiatives, develop and implement new projects to enhance ungulate sustainability, and encourage innovation in the field of ungulate management, both in zoos and in the wild. With an emphasis on cooperation, the seven ungulate TAGs pool our combined resources to make measureable outcomes for all seven taxa while minimizing repeated efforts.
